City Express (City Commute Ride)

This is an initiative that has been going strong for well over 10 years now. Steve Brown and wife Louise Brownorganised the ride, and still attend the ride, as well as some of our customers and staff members to promote the commute to the City.

This ride is built around a core group of about 6 riders who commute into the city and another group of about 4-6 riders who ride with the group for fitness and turn around and head for home at Mosman. Ride as a group taking an "off military rd" route. The aim is safer riding as a group, having more visibility, obeying all road rules, and keeping away from traffic bottlenecks where possible.

Here is the City Express timetable. Please be aware that this is non-stop service.
- Departs AvantiPlus Narrabeen 6.20am sharp.
- Warringah Rd/Pittwater Rd 6.35am.
- Oliver Rd/Pittwater Rd 6.44am.
- Bottom Parawi Rd 6.55am.
- Harbour Bridge 7.20am.
- Town Hall 7.35am.
We aim to stay off all major roads as much as possible in and around Mosman/NeutralBay. A sporting level of fitness is required, although this is not a race, it is run at a good pace!

The Friday morning coffee ride has been in action for the same amount of time as the city ride. This ride is mainly a leisurely return road ride from the shop (1324 Pittwater Rd, Narrabeen) to Manly. At the end of the ride, we treat ourselves to a coffee and head off to work.

If you want to join us, feel free! Everyone is invited.
Meet at the shop at 6:20 am sharp. The ride is finished at roughly 7:30-8:00 am.

The Narrabeen Mountain Bike Bash is a new initiative started by some of the mountain bike-crazy staff members here. The NMTBBis a group of staff riders as well as some customers and friends of the shop who ride any trail generally on a Monday evening.
